Change is in the air - whether you are finishing school, changing jobs, or transitioning through relationships, spring is the time for newness and growth. This is when the gloom of winter clears and you're able to look at your surroundings with a fresh set of eyes. Transitional periods are not only the perfect time to press the restart button, but to refresh your wardrobe as well. I'm currently in the process of clearing my closet of dated pieces and things I haven't worn in the last year (I think that's a good rule to follow, right?). It's invigorating to clear the built up clutter that has accumulated both in my closet and in my mind. This spring I am focusing on the things that represent who I want to be for the remainder of the year, but mostly feeling positive about change.
Traditional spring prints are not usually my thing, but I am working on incorporating more graphic pieces into my outfits that have the same level of impact as a bright print, but a little less "in your face". A solid color combined with a dimensional print is my go-to for this spring - Solid + Striped. Cheers to change!
